Assisted publishing: at the minute you choose, Pilcrow hands you the finished Article, images and all, to publish on X yourself. It needs no X API and costs nothing.
Your own X API
Publishing automatically needs an X developer app, and X charges the app's owner for each request. Using your own app here would mean handing Pilcrow its credentials, which X's developer terms do not allow. So pilcrow.pro does not ask for them and does not publish automatically for you; it never asks for your X password, keys or tokens.
Automatic publishing here is limited to the founder's own X account and app. If X's terms or Pilcrow's options change, it will be announced on this page first.
Fair use
Pilcrow runs on free hosting, database, storage and email allowances, so every workspace has the same limits. They are generous for one writer or a small team; they are not unlimited.
